The Firbank Aquastars swim club was established in 1997 and has a proud history of teaching, encouraging and inspiring young swimmers to reach their potential in the sport of swimming whilst also ensuring the athletes are having fun and are motivated.
The club welcomes both female and male swimmers and caters for all levels, from the Junior Development squad through to the elite swimmers in the National squad. The program operates at the Firbank Grammar School's indoor pool and physical conditioning facility. A learn-to-swim program also operates out of the pool as well and is staffed by a number of qualified, current and former club members.
The Firbank Aquastars, also known as FAS, has strong ties to the Australian Swimming Coaches and Teachers Association. It has swimmers who have performed on the national and international stage along with those who are just beginning their swimming journey. It is a club that prides itself on being inclusive, fun and successful.
 | Firbank Grammar School is the major supporter of the Firbank Aquastars. The school provides coaching staff and access to the Senior School's swimming and training facilities. The relationship with the school is strong with the club having been formed with the support of the school board.
